Experience then Enlightenment

Experience then Enlightenment

If you think about it, most things that truly matter are learned through experience. It’s only when we experience something that we learn it and understand it. Universities teach theory, but only when the students get into the real world or get to do some work experience do they really understand. This is the wisdom found in the verse underpinning Gospel Bites – “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). We are invited to experience and then perceive. When we experience God in our lives, we begin to see and truly understand him. Sure, we can study the Bible and should – but it’s only when we experience God that we truly begin to understand him. As Job said, “My ears had heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you” (Job 42:5). Open yourself to experience God. Invite Jesus into your life and let him change how you experience the world. Once you have had this taste, you will surely come to know God and the wonder of the life he is offering. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/psa34v8, https://bit.ly/job42v5
