Carved by the Creator

Carved by the Creator

The other day, I went for a walk to the park, hoping to clear my mind and spend time with God. As I sat there, I looked up at the mountains and felt so small in comparison. They stood tall and unshaken, yet as I looked closer, I noticed their ruggedness—the cracks, the uneven slopes, the marks left by time and weather. But even with those imperfections, they were breathtaking. At that moment, I felt God reminding me: This is how I see you. We often get caught up in our flaws, the struggles we can’t overcome, the places where life has left its mark. But God sees the bigger picture—He sees what He is forming in us. “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6). And in Isaiah, we read: “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64:8). Like mountains shaped by storms, God is using every season—both beautiful and difficult—to mould us into who He created us to be. If you feel discouraged, remember: You are still in the hands of the Creator, and He is not finished with you yet. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Isa64v8, https://bit.ly/Phi1v6 (Anke S)
