Always be ready

Always be ready

We have a camping fridge and camping drawers filled with various items in the back of our car, meaning we’re always ready. Not just ready to go camping, but even if we are making a meal at home and don’t have the right ingredients, or need a container to store something, or need a fridge to keep something cold, it’s all in our car. It’s really nice knowing we have an ever-ready supply of items wherever we may be. It took a lot of planning and effort to get the car set up, but now it is a real pleasure to have. When it comes to our Christian journey it’s the same. We receive Jesus into our lives, which is awesome, “In your hearts revere Christ as Lord”. But it shouldn’t end there. Peter continues, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15). Being able to share the good news with someone takes thought, preparation, and care. Yet when the opportunity arises, it is a real pleasure. Take a moment to consider how you would share your experience with Jesus with someone else. (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/1Pe3vs14
