Aim for the best

Aim for the best

Having the right aim impacts our lives, and alignment is crucial. Misdirected aim can bring disastrous results. Cain’s misaligned aim set a pattern of violence and corruption in the world. So what are we called to aim at? We must aim upwards, toward the greatest good – God Himself. This teaches us the difference between what is good and what is best. Martha and Mary show this clearly. Martha was busy with ‘good’ preparations, but Jesus called them distractions. Mary, focused solely on Him, was praised: “But few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:42). As we approach each day, let us align ourselves with what is best. Fix your eyes on God, and let every good thing in your life overflow from that upward aim. (Jeremy G) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Luk10v41-42
