Cry out, be heard

Cry out, be heard

It’s been such a blessing to travel and spend three weeks with my 3-month-old nephew. But as all babies do, when they want something or are upset, they let you know—with a loud cry! Whether it’s on an airplane, at the beach, or in the middle of the night, they cry knowing their parents will hear and comfort them. It made me realise how much we can learn from this. When we’re struggling, we often try to stay strong or solve it ourselves. But babies don’t hesitate—they know they can’t do anything alone. They cry, and they’re heard. Psalm 34:17 reminds us, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” God invites us to do the same. To cry out. To trust that He hears and helps. So the next time life feels overwhelming, don’t hold back. Cry out. Because your Lord, your God, is always listening. Open Bible – bit.ly/Psa34v17 (Hannah H)
