Goals are incredible, but there’s a challenge—what happens once you achieve them? We often pour our energy into reaching a target, but once we get there, we can feel strangely empty. It’s easy to slip back into old habits, losing the ambition that once drove us. You could train for months to run a marathon, cross the finish line, and then stop running altogether. The achievement is still remarkable, but without a new goal, the long-term benefits fade. The Bible encourages us to have consistent ambition. “Brethren, I do not consider myself to have obtained it, but I know one thing: I have forgotten that which is behind me and I reach out before me” (Philippians 3:13). God created us to serve, using our achievements to bring glory to Him. Success is not a destination—it’s part of an ongoing journey. So, celebrate your victories, but don’t stop there. Keep seeking ways to honour God with your gifts and keep moving forward. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Phi3v13 (Jean-Luc H)
