Standing in our ocean-side room twelve meters above sea level, I heard a great crash. A giant wave had just crashed through our open balcony door, soaking everything inside. It took us by surprise. Waves are not meant to reach this height. It made me think of the verse. – “I was there when he set the limits of the seas, so they would not spread beyond their boundaries” (Proverbs 8:29). God has created the earth perfectly. If the sea did not have boundaries, all sea-level land would be continually flooded. I realised how much of God’s creation I take for granted. Today, let’s stand in awe of God’s incredible creation and let our prayer be that of David. “The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice” (Psalm 95:5-7). Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Pro8v29, http://bit.ly/Psa95v5-7 (Nicky B)
