I’m sure at some point in your life, you’ve heard the saying, “Preparation is key”. This can relate to so many different things. However, recently, we received the warning to prepare for extreme weather. Everyone did their part to rush and make sure they were fully ready for whatever nature had to throw at them. In the blink of an eye, we will drop what we need to do to prepare for something extreme, but let me ask you this question – Are you ready for Jesus’ return? Are you truly prepared for him to bring his kingdom to this earth? Or would you scramble to make a final “good impression”? Jesus tells us, “So you also must be ready because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him” (Matthew 24:44). If you prepare adequately for everything else in your life, then I’m sure you’ll recognise this as being the most important event we should be ready for. Therefore, we should prepare for our Saviour every day by studying the amazing lessons he teaches us in the gospels and living and sharing his love. Even while reading this, know you are preparing for the most glorious of days ever. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Mat24v44 (Jean-Luc H)
Are you prepared?
