Many people spend their lives searching for more – more success, more comfort, more possessions, more recognition – yet still feel restless inside. Jesus teaches that true life is not found in endlessly receiving, but in allowing what we receive from God to flow through us to others. God's gifts were never meant to stop with us. His love is meant to move through our lives to others. When we hold tightly to everything for ourselves, our hearts slowly become closed and empty. But when we freely give love, mercy, encouragement, forgiveness, and generosity, we begin reflecting the heart of God Himself. Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35), and He also taught, "Freely you have received; freely give" (Matthew 10:8). Grace received becomes grace given. Mercy received becomes mercy shown. Forgiveness received becomes forgiveness offered. Love for God becomes love for neighbour. Jesus revealed this when He said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart… and love your neighbour as yourself" (Matthew 22:37-39). Throughout Scripture, love for God and love for people are inseparable. As God's kindness fills our hearts, it is meant to overflow into the lives of others. Today, may we become channels of God's kindness – transforming our own lives and the lives of those around us. (Nicky B). Open Bible – bit.ly/Act20v35, bit.ly/Mat10v8, bit.ly/Mat22v37-39
