Taste or Feast?

Taste or Feast?

You are reading what we call a Gospel Bite – a small taste of God’s message. Something to think about in your day. Something to encourage you. Gospel Bites are inspired by the psalm that says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). But a bite alone won’t sustain us. That’s why at the end of each message is an invitation to enter God’s restaurant – His Word. This is not just an invitation to taste, but to feast. “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies” (Psalm 23:5). We’re all surrounded by enemies – fear, illness, worry, danger, loss, anger. Yet God invites you to a table of love, joy, and peace. A feast with the King. A feast for eternal life. Today you’ve had a taste, but far more awaits you in Scripture. Open your Bible. Let His living Word speak. Feast on His goodness, and He will fill you in ways beyond imagining.
