“How great is our God.” Psalm 8:3-4 beautifully reflects on His majesty: “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” Two powerful truths stand out. First, the heavens and stars are the delicate work of God’s fingers—He placed each star in its position. Did you know one star could fit 1.3 million Earths? Second, this mighty and powerful God cares deeply for you and me, desiring an intimate and loving relationship with us. If our Heavenly Father created the stars, imagine the miraculous impact He can have in your life. He longs to work in wonderful ways every day, shaping us to be His children, pure and blameless, so we too can shine as stars in a crooked and warped generation (Philippians 2:15). This January, as you gaze at the night sky, consider the power and majesty of the One who set the stars in place. Let His hands work mightily in your life so your heart can sing with joy: “How great is our God.” Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Psa8v3-4, https://bit.ly/Phi2v15 (Nicky B).
