We are back in the amazing Kruger National Park, soaking up the beauty of God's incredible creation. Modern life makes us forget how wild things once were – and even in the wilds, we easily lapse into our old hurried ways. One thing you quickly learn in a game park is that life is meant to be done slowly. I am used to rushing from one place to the next, but on Kruger's roads the destination is not the goal – the road itself is. Drive fast, eyes fixed ahead, and you miss everything. Today we drove right past our favourite sighting: a leopard in a tree. Thankfully, on our return, someone had spotted it and caused a Kruger traffic jam – the only kind you actually look forward to. We slowed down and got to see that incredible sight. We are all on a journey to God's Kingdom, and while the hope of a world without sin and death is where we long to be, the journey itself is filled with gifts from God. Hidden in the thorny bushes of life are beautiful things, but we need to slow down and open our eyes. "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people." (Ephesians 1:18). Whatever is going on today, choose to open your eyes and see God. (Craig B). Open Bible – bit.ly/eph1v18
