God’s Final Masterpiece

I was enjoying a run along the ocean promenade when the words of a worship song kept playing through my mind: “ I can see Your heart in everything You've made Every burning star A signal fire of grace If creation sings Your praises so will I” As I ran, I reflected on how God’s creative hand is evident in every detail of His creation. The ocean, the clouds, the birds, each one revealing something of His beauty, wisdom, and power. Along the promenade were a series of award-winning nature photographs. Each image captured breathtaking detail, and I found myself marveling at our Creator whose handiwork they had captured. As I turned to head back, I looked up and saw a magnificent rainbow stretched across the ocean sky. I stood in awe. It felt as though our Heavenly Father had heard the very thoughts of my heart and graciously provided one more masterpiece to enjoy. David expressed a similar wonder: “Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.” (Psalm 139:4) Today, take time to step outside. Look carefully at the world around you. In every painted sky, every flower, and every bird, there are traces of the Creator’s heart. The more we notice His handiwork, the more our hearts are drawn to worship Him. (Nicky B).
