Any relationship is special, whether between a husband and wife, parent and child, or two friends. These bonds connect us to others. Well, what if I told you there should never be only two people in a relationship but rather three? Yes, there will always be you and the person you have a relationship with, but God should also be included in every relationship you have. 1 John 4:12 says, “No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” For any relationship to truly thrive, we must model God’s love to one another. While relationships can exist without this, they will never fully prosper or reach their potential. Love those you’re connected with in a way that reflects God’s love.
