There is nothing more amazing than seeing someone totally transform for good. Sometimes, we see the process, but other times, the process is unseen. All we see is the remarkable change. In Psalm 22, David writes a beautiful psalm that is firstly a prophecy of Messiah (Matthew 27:46) but also David’s life’s struggles. The first 21 verses are a prayer for help – “I am poured out like water…dogs surround some…people stare and gloat over me…. Rescue me from the mouth of the lions; save me from the horns of the wild oxen.” – And then suddenly everything changes between verse 21 and verse 22 from fear to praise – “I will declare your name to my people; in the assembly, I will praise you.” (Psalms 22:22). The miracle is found in verse 21½. This is the space where God works. Unwritten. Unseen. Eternal. This is the space between despair and faith – between suffering and joy – between me and God. It’s God’s Gap – it’s where miracles happen, where his Spirit works unseen. So when life is going wrong, take time to enter God’s space and see how everything changes in God’s unseen space. The unwritten space
