“Bless the Lord, O my soul; all that is within me, bless His holy name” (Psalm 103:1). These opening words of Psalm 103 remind us of how much we have to bless God for. Every good thing comes from His hand—our food, health, family, friends, and life itself. He shows us love, care, kindness, and immense mercy. Most importantly, He forgives us. “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our wrongdoings from us” (Psalm 103:12). This powerful imagery reveals the limitless extent of His forgiveness; there is no boundary to how far He will go to remove our sins. And how is this possible? Through the ultimate sacrifice of His perfect and beloved Son, Jesus. What an incredible God we serve, who offers such boundless love and mercy. Truly, He is worthy of all our praise.
