Keep moving

Keep moving

Every year when November comes around a group of us undertake what we call the Moovember challenge. The idea is to commit to a daily moove goal – a set number of kilometers you plan to walk/run each day. The issue isn’t really the daily amount, it is sustaining this for the month. Some days it’s easy, but other days there just isn’t time. However, what I’ve found is that I am always looking for opportunities to walk – even if it is just to the end of the garden to pick something up. Every step counts. And that’s the whole idea –  being active and developing our health and wellbeing. It’s this same commitment God is looking for from us. He wants us to commit to a life of service. A life where every day we are looking for opportunities to serve, even if it’s just the smallest act of kindness. Every act counts. And that’s the whole idea – serving daily and developing our spiritual health and wellbeing.  So, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
