Into His arms

Into His arms

“Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Mark 10:15). These are scary words. The access path to God’s kingdom is only possible by becoming like a little child. What does this mean? Surely it is vital that we understand this. It could mean being humble, or innocent, or accepting, and many other things that children teach us. But Jesus shows the answer in the next verse: “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.” (Mark 10:16). The children run into the embrace of Jesus – that is what being a child means. In life, we run into the embrace of many things: relationships, careers, social media, sports. There are many places we look for meaning and comfort. Yet, if we want entry into God’s kingdom, we must come to Jesus. It’s only when we humbly realise He is the way, and let Him comfort and care for us, that we find access to God’s kingdom. What an incredible offer. Let Jesus embrace your life and experience His blessing – both now and in His kingdom. (Craig B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mar10v13-16
