I’m currently staying at a place that overlooks the ocean. From our deck I’ve seen over 20 different whales swimming and breaching into the air. As I sat there marvelling at God’s incredible creation, it struck me that He does the same when He looks at us. We are His beautiful creation, made in His very image. “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). The same God who formed the oceans, the mountains, and the whales, looks at you and says: You are my masterpiece. What an amazing thought. It is the perfect reminder that in everything we do, we should live in a way that honours God’s image. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). How can you show others God’s image through your life? How will you treat others who are made in His image? Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Gen1v27, https://bit.ly/eph2v10 (Hannah H)
