Do you want this?

If you do just one thing, God will give you prosperity, protection, healing, and health. What do you think the one thing is that will bring all these blessings? David gives us the answer in the Psalms. And it is something every one of us is capable of doing. “Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble. The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The LORD nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health” (Psalms 41:1-3). This incredible list of “joys” is for those who are kind to the poor. The word “kind” carries the meaning of understanding and consideration. It speaks of compassion. It is about entering into the needs and trials of the poor. Kindness is helping with our money, time, and energy. Kindness is a willingness to make a difference, even if it’s inconvenient. And if we have any doubt about what kindness looks like, we need only look to Jesus and what he did for a world suffering an utter poverty of righteousness. He gave his life so we might have eternal riches. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Psa41v1-3
