The world can be divided into those who believe in God and those who don’t. But believers can be further divided into believers and faithers – and the difference is vital. Looking at a chair, you believe it will support your weight. However, when you sit on the chair, you demonstrate your faith. Belief is knowing, but faith is acting. Hebrews 11 is the chapter of faith. It lists faithful men and women. But each time, their faith is described by an action. “By faith Abel offered”, “By faith Noah built”, “By faith Abraham went”, “By faith Rahab welcomed”. They were not just believers, they were faithers. In this chapter, we are told – “Anyone who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” That’s a believer. But, the verse begins with, “Without faith it is impossible to please God”(Hebrews 11:6). A faither acts. They don’t just believe; they earnestly seek God. Are you a believer or a faither? Pray this prayer to Jesus – “Lord, I believe. Help my faith.” Open Bible – https://bit.ly/heb11v6
