I recently stayed in this incredible, unique stay; everything about it was perfect. Best of all, it was far from any civilisation and completely immersed in God’s nature. However, there was one issue: the water from the taps was borehole water, and it tasted like we were drinking salty soup. It left us thirsty and unable to fully appreciate where we were. It made me appreciate the importance of the quality of the water that we drink. In John 4:13-14, we read, “Jesus answered, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” This experience underscored the spiritual significance of seeking a source of sustenance beyond temporary satisfaction but instead seeking the living water that Jesus offers for a truly fulfilling life. We can have everything but still desperately be missing something. Without Jesus’ life-satisfying presence, life will never be complete. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Joh4v13-14 (Hannah B)
