Would you have?

Would you have?

Would you have seen a couple poor,

A wife with child, and opened your door?

Would you have looked at the night sky,

And seen a star, shine bright and high?

Would you have travelled from afar,

To find the child beneath the star?

Would you have looked with awe and fear,

As angels sang for the saviour dear?

Would you have gone that night to seek,

To find the king, divine and meek?

Would you have come to worship the one,

A babe so small, the promised son?

Would you have knelt in reverent awe,

Before the child, the king of all?

Would you have brought him gifts of gold,

Sweet incense for the one foretold?

Would you have sung with heart alight,

For the Messiah before your sight?

You still can open your door to him,

And let the Christ, your redeemer, in!

You still can come to the Saviour King,

And to His feet, your offering bring!

You still can bow before His throne,

And give Him your life, your all to own!

Will you come to the saviour adored,

And declare, “He is the Messiah, the Lord”?

I will come to the saviour adored,

And declare, “He is the Messiah, the Lord” (Craig B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Luk2v11
