We are called to be perfect. “Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48). And let’s be honest, we’d all like to be perfect. But while social media tries to sell us the perfect job, the perfect body, the perfect holiday, this pursuit often echoes the serpent’s deception in Genesis. The truth is, we are not perfect, we are human. We make mistakes. We speak out of turn. Yet imperfection allows space for patience, forgiveness, and understanding. It teaches us to step beyond ourselves. Imperfection isn’t failure, it’s life. When we embrace it, our relationships grow stronger, grounded in grace rather than appearance. Love isn’t about perfection; it’s about connection. And the more we learn to see beyond each other’s flaws, the closer we come to true, godly perfection. Jesus leads the way. “Having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” (Hebrews 5:9). James reminds us, “He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it… this one will be blessed in what he does.” (James 1:25). True perfection is not about image, it’s about living in the freedom and grace of Christ. (Pierre B) Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mat5v48, https://bit.ly/Heb5v9, https://bit.ly/jam1v25
