An engagement is one of the most exhilarating times of one’s life. Planning, designing, the location, the proposal – all a part of creating the perfect moment. While I experienced this recently, many moments in our lives can give us the same joy. However, the thing about “moments” is that they are fleeting. We can only truly appreciate our blessings by linking them to God’s eternal glory. Without God, these precious moments would be a flash in our existence. However, by aligning our lives with God’s teachings, he blesses us with moments that will be eternal. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Whether you are getting married, celebrating an anniversary, or getting a promotion, no matter what stage of our lives we are in, we can only truly experience the eternity of our moments by giving God the glory.
