Walking in truth

Walking in truth

Life often feels like a journey through uncertain terrain. In Psalm 86:11, David prays, “Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth.” This is more than a plea for guidance; it’s a request for a life grounded in God’s unchanging principles, even when the journey is unclear or challenging. Walking in truth means more than knowing the right path; it’s about aligning our lives with God’s ways, step by step. Just as hikers trust a map to guide them through rough terrain, we are called to trust God’s truth as our guide. It takes humility to learn, faith to trust, and courage to move forward, even when the path is hard. Truth isn’t always the easiest road, but God promises to strengthen and guide us. His truth becomes both a foundation and a light for each step. David’s words, “Unite my heart to fear your name,” remind us of the peace and strength found in a heart fully aligned with God. Walking in truth is more than a journey—it’s an act of worship, a source of stability and purpose, and a reassurance that God walks with us every step of the way. In His truth, we are truly home.
