George and Anna are having a huge fight. They have been married for three years, but this fight is different. There is anger, aggression, and unkind words. George finally exclaims, “I don’t need this. I want out of this marriage”. Carol and Jenna have been friends for years. Carol finds out that Jenna said something mean about her at a party. She texts Jenna, “We are no longer friends. I’ve blocked you; don’t call.” Neither George or Carol are interested in reconciling their relationships. We say unkind words to others, we get angry, and we walk out on God. But when we seek Him, what does He do? “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20). God never gives up on us. “He will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:8). God never gives up on us. He always forgives, always desires reconciliation. Who will you be like in your relationships – George and Carol, or God? Open Bible – https://bit.ly/deu31v8, http://bit.ly/Luk15v20 (Nicky B)
Unforgiving!
