Life is full of journeys, whether to the shop, to work, through school and careers, or the greater journey through life itself. And with every journey comes the need for guidance. We turn to maps, mentors, coaches, but even with all this help, it’s easy to get lost. And nothing feels worse than being lost in life. That’s where Jesus steps in. He doesn’t offer a map, He says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6). He is not just pointing us to the path, He is the path. “For in Him we live and move and exist” (Acts 17:28). Jesus provides both the guide and the road. He gives us everything we need to walk through life, if we remain in Him. Early Christians were so shaped by this truth that their faith was called “the Way.” Not a belief system, but a life walked in step with Jesus. “Whoever says he abides in Him must walk in the same way…” (1 John 2:6). Today, you’ll face many paths. Some choices will be small, others life-shaping. Pause and ask, are my steps keeping me in the Way?
