Miracle moments

Having experienced a terrible flood, the new day means light and our best opportunity to escape. After a long walk in the rain and wind carrying a few clothes and two small dogs we arrive at a road. However, a raging river has ripped the road apart, separating us from our destination. With shivering, wet dogs, we cannot see a way across. One brave driver in a 4×4 makes it across, coming to our side. But no one else will attempt it. Leaving my wife and dogs, I search for any way to cross. Nothing. Unbeknown to me, my wife prays for help. And at that moment, the same driver appears about to cross back. He agrees to take us with him. And soon, we are carried safely across. Later, we return to the river, unsure how my daughter and son-in-law, who have now arrived, will cross. If they can’t cross, they will have nowhere to go. Suddenly, someone I know appears in a 4×4. Seeing me he leaves his car and asks if he can help. He crosses the raging river just as my daughter and son-in-law arrive, and in minutes, has carried them safely to us. “There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.” (Deuteronomy 1:31). These are miracle moments. God will carry you today. Look for him. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Deu1v31
