Hidden inside

Hidden inside

There used to be an old advert on TV for a coffee creamer called Cremora. The punch line, when the husband couldn’t find the Cremora in the fridge was, “It’s not inside it’s on top”. This creamer tasted like it belonged in a fridge but could be stored outside. However, the opposite is true of God’s Word. “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11). Do you treat God’s Word like a coffee creamer, stored on the outside, not inside? We might read it, talk about it, share it, but none of this will really change us. We need God’s Word to enter us. It’s only when we truly let Him inside that He can change us. Let’s commit to saying this about God’s Word – “It’s not on top, it’s inside?”
