Too Simple!

Too Simple!

There is a delight and danger in simplicity. The delight is in removing distracting clutter. The danger is in losing important details. Simplicity that removes possessions brings joy. Simplicity that removes understanding brings sorrow. Our world is simplifying. Tiny homes. Minimalist designs. Online shopping. Instant messages. Short tweets. AI answers. Yet in always seeking simplicity, we can shift from delight to danger. From that which reduces clutter to that which reduces thinking. When we strip away the non-essential we can lose the essential. Simplicity is important. The entire Bible message can be simplified into three words. “God is love” (1 John 4:8). But this is a simple invitation to discover a profound truth (Romans 11:33). Simple things that lead to deep truths are desirable. However, in our world, simple things are leading to simple people unwilling to find truth in complexity, meaning in chaos, and insight in difficulty. “Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight” (Proverbs 9:6). This short Gospel Bite is an invitation to “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). This is an invitation, not the event. The living, life-changing truth lies inside God’s Word. Read it. It’s profoundly simple but simply profound. 🌱Open Bible – https://bit.ly/pro9v6, https://bit.ly/1jo4v8, https://bit.ly/rom11v33, https://bit.ly/psa34v8
