Priorities

Priorities

I recently watched an interview where a successful businessman revealed what he wished he had spent less time on. Surprisingly, it was his job. Many of us spend more time with our colleagues than with our families. While our jobs are still important, they shouldn’t overshadow what truly matters. My dad lives by the priorities: faith, family, finance – in that unchangeable order. Proverbs 3:6 proclaims, “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.” When we put God first, he will bless our family relationships. And if we invest in relationships, then not only will we receive the greatest treasure, but God will also take care of our welfare. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11).
