Life swap

Life swap

Do you know God? A question many struggle to answer. Many see God as unreachable, unattainable. So, how can I know God? In Psalms, we read. “Be still, and know that I am God!” (Psalm 46:10). The word “know” means to know properly as you would a familiar friend. The word “still” means to faint. When we faint, we lose consciousness for a short time because of a temporarily insufficient supply of oxygen to the brain. So, to know God intimately, we have to lose our control and power over our lives and rely on His power. “By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him” (2 Peter 1:3). When we seek to know God, he fills us with His divine power and gives us everything we need to live a godly life. But this requires us to give up control of our life to God. In return, God offers us a life today filled with His love, wisdom, and power, and in the future, we will have everlasting life. This is undoubtedly a new life worth giving up our life for. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/2pe1v3, https://bit.ly/psa46v10 (Nicky B)
