“My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” (Isaiah 32:18). This verse paints a beautiful picture of peace. A peaceful home set in a tranquil place. However, a peaceful home depends not on the setting of your house but on the setting of your heart. “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” (Colossians 3:1). True peace can be found regardless of where you may physically be, by setting your heart on Jesus, by letting Jesus into your life. “Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your heart…Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your life.” (Colossians 3:15-16)
