In times of uncertainty, chaos, and fear, where do you turn? Do you turn to social media, friends, or family? While these may provide temporary comfort, they cannot offer the same level of security and strength that God provides. The Psalmist reminds us where to turn: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). God is our refuge—a safe place to hide and a shelter from life’s storms. God is our strength—the power that enables us to face challenges head-on. And God is an ever-present help in trouble—always available and ready to assist. So, when faced with trouble, where will you turn? Will you rely on the fleeting comforts of this world, or will you turn to the eternal, unshakable God who is your refuge, strength, and ever-present help?
