Do you know that you are a dearly loved child of God? This is not a temporary relationship; it is forever. We are told to “Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love” (Ephesians 5:1). In a world filled with hatred, jealousy, greed, and anger, God asks His children to walk in the way of love. What does walking in God’s love every day look like? We find the answer in 1 Corinthians 13:3-8) – “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable. It keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever! Wow! This is the example God asks us to follow. This is the love God asks us to share with the world. A love he wants to pour into our hearts every day. What an indescribable life.
