Decisions and tradeoffs

Decisions and tradeoffs

We need to get a replacement car for our car that drowned in a recent flood. The process of finding a car is so difficult. There are so many options from makes of cars to models to years, and all this within a limited budget – not to mention all the scammers. It seems that whatever we choose, we will have to give up something. That’s what life is like – tradeoffs. Get something but lose something else. It’s only with God that this is not the case. If we choose to follow him, he offers us the best version of our life today and eternal life in the future. Sure, this doesn’t mean we won’t have trials and challenges, but everyone has those – the difference is with God, he guides us through every trial and challenge, rather than us driving on a random journey to nowhere. And then, at the end, we also receive his gift of eternity. “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19). Don’t settle for tradeoffs and compromises – make the easy choice, choose God! Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Deu30v19
