Christian or Christ in

Some years ago, I was invited to speak at a Bible Week in Australia. After having just met our host, I went with him to an evening youth activity. Afterwards, he gave me a car we could use, telling me to follow him home. However, leaving the parking area, two cars were in front of me. I had no idea which was him. This was OK while both cars went in the same direction. However, eventually, one turned, and I decided to follow it. I had no idea where I was, where home was, or even our host’s surname. As I strained to remember what car he had, I recalled that when he unlocked the boot, the lock was in the middle. This car’s lock was on the side. Panic!. I had followed the wrong car. I was lost in the dark. The word Christian means follower of Christ. And Jesus calls us to follow him. But we can so quickly lose sight of him and get lost. However, Jesus makes us a better offer. Not to just follow him but to let him into our life to drive our “car”. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” (Galatians 2:20). Thankfully, my host found me later, and I got home. Don’t just be a Christian – let Christ in, and he will take you safely home. Open Bible – http://bit.ly/Gal2v20
