Never underestimate the lessons you can learn from those younger than you, we sometimes lose important views on life as we grow from a child to an adult. Think of the cherished moments of your childhood, writing your friends birthday cards, bringing your parents coffee in the morning, the list goes on. Now that you’ve grown up a bit, do you find yourself doing these little gestures a little bit less in the mix of the bustle of everyday life? Sometimes with everything that comes with being an adult we depart from the innocent and sweet mannerisms from when we were a child. And so it’s not surprising that Jesus asks us to have childlike faith. “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3). Take a moment to reflect on something simple but impactful that you did as a child that you don’t do anymore and try it again. Look to children around you and see what they can teach you about love and faith. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mat18v3 (Jean-Luc H)
