“Friends…We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.” (Acts 14:15). This wonderful message shared two thousand years ago is as true and as needed today as it was then. It’s an invitation to turn from nothing to the good news of God, the maker of everything. Yet two thousand years later, most still pursue the worthless rather than the priceless. Most pursue careers, fame, beauty, and power…all of which will end in dust. However, God is inviting us to something so much more, so much greater, and eternal. He is inviting us to a life now that is filled with his divine love, joy, and peace and a life in the future that is eternal. Today, how much time will you spend reading and watching and talking about what is worthless and passing away? How much time will you spend reading and sharing God’s good news?
