Valentine’s Day is all about love, celebrated worldwide with gifts and other heartfelt expressions. But as many focus on love today, let’s remember the greatest act of love ever shown. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). God’s love isn’t temporary or based on feelings as often human love is; it’s eternal and unconditional. While the world celebrates love with presents and words, the ultimate gift was Jesus giving His life so we could have a relationship with Him forever. This Valentine’s Day, whether you’re surrounded by loved ones or feeling alone, know this—God’s love for you is eternal, and His “love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8).
