Walking through the of Harold Porter Botanic Gardens, I read something interesting: “Did you know that if you follow a honeyguide bird it will lead you to honey?” The Khoisan used to follow them to find honey. I guess I should have known, it’s in the name, right, honeyguide. God has placed different things, people, and moments in our lives that guide us in the right direction. The ultimate guide God has given us is Jesus, and just like the honeyguide, it’s also in the name. The name Jesus comes from Yeshua, which means the Lord is salvation. Jesus guides us to salvation, saving us from sin and death. Follow the honeyguide, find honey.
