For me, maths class was the real challenge. Especially if it was the first time the teacher explained a new concept, like trigonometry, which made my brain go off on a tangent 😀. I would certainly miss it if I could. It can sometimes be like this with God’s Word and us. We read God’s word, and it can seem complicated, or we simply fail to apply his instructions to our daily life. The good news is God provides us with a teacher who helps us with our understanding and how to live God’s word. “As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.” (1 John 2:27) Jesus assures us of his role as our teacher; “And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.” (Matthew 23:10). God fills us daily with His Holy Spirit to be our teacher and help us live a Godly life. “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26). Today, if you are feeling lost or confused. Call to your teacher. His express desire is to teach you, to guide you, and to comfort you. This is one lesson you certainly don’t want to miss.
