“Do everything in love” (1Cor 16:14) is a simple instruction but one that is nearly impossible to follow. Love is easy when it’s for people we like or when it’s convenient. But love is nearly impossible when it’s for those who “don’t deserve it” or it is not convenient. Jesus dying on the cross to save everyone including the very people who were mocking him and hammering the nails in would have been impossible if it was in his own strength. His love was certainly not easy or convenient – it was divine. This love that changes the world and our lives, is a gift from God. Ask Him to help you to do EVERYTHING in love, and that will make all the difference.
