As the words used to describe Jesus accumulate, one truth becomes clear. He is not merely known by many titles; He is the Word of God. This is the name He bears in Revelation 19:13: “He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which He is called is the Word of God.” Creation itself began with words. “Let there be light” was not empty speech, but effective speech. God spoke, and reality responded. Yet God’s Word was not finished. It was waiting to be made flesh, not in the sun, but in the Son. John opens his Gospel by taking us back to that beginning: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). Then comes the stunning claim: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us” (John 1:14). Jesus is the living embodiment of all God has spoken. As the Gospel unfolds, we see the Word in action. Jesus speaks healing, hope, peace, and victory. His words do not merely inform; they transform. Jesus is the Eternal Word, alive, active, and personal. He does not only want to be read about. He wants to live in us. Will you allow the Word of God to write His story into your life, and make you part of His eternal one? (Craig B) Open Bible – bit.ly/Rev19v13, https://bit.ly/Joh1v1, https://bit.ly/joh1v14
