Life is about decisions. Some decisions are small and inconsequential, while others are life-altering. However, the most important decision is to choose to serve God or not. This is a crossroads decision that will impact not only our life now but also for eternity. It’s a decision point that every one of us faces. God tells us what to do when we find ourselves at this crossroads. “This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16). Firstly, stand and look. Don’t ignore this important decision point in life. We can’t ignore it – Do you believe in God? Do you believe God? Open your eyes, and you will see. Then ask Him about the “ancient paths”, His Word written for guidance, a map for life. Ask where the good way is, and you will find Jesus, “the Way, the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6). Then, walk in it. And it will make all the difference – “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I. I took the one less travelled by. And that has made all the difference” (Robert Frost).
