Small but Mighty

Small but Mighty

Recently I received a message from someone who had been disappointed by the lack of response to the website he built to share the gospel. He eventually gave up. I could understand his feeling. We’ve shared thousands of Gospel Bites across many platforms, and often there’s little to show for it. It’s easy to feel disheartened. But beyond the blessing we receive in sharing God’s Word, there’s a deeper truth. The Jews rebuilding the temple felt the same discouragement after 16 years of little progress. Then came this message: “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10). God isn’t focused on numbers; He sees obedience. A single act, a single life changed, is reason to rejoice. And remember, the impact doesn’t depend on our power: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6). So today, whether it’s a message of hope or an act of love, don’t hold back because it feels small. In God’s hands, your smallest effort may have eternal impact.
