Flying high above Europe, I watch the little plane icon crawl across the screen—tracing our journey from Italy, across countries and continents, back to South Africa. From this height, the world feels both vast and small. So many countries, cities, towns, each one teeming with lives and stories. With over 8.1 billion people now in the world, it’s easy to wonder—how could anyone notice just one? And yet, God does. Jesus reminds us in Luke 12:7, “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Even in the great swarm of humanity, He sees you. Not just as a number, but as a known, loved person. Psalm 139:1–2 echoes this: “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.” God’s awareness is not distant—it’s personal. So as I glide through skies above billions, I’m comforted by this unshakable truth: even here, I am seen. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/luk12v7, https://bit.ly/psa139v1-3 (Hannah H)
