“The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are bold as lions” (Proverbs 28:1). Many of us remember sneaking a cookie from the jar as kids. Even when no one was around, there was always an extra bit of caution, not wanting to be seen or caught. But have you ever been afraid of being caught helping the needy or reading your Bible? God has instilled in us an innate sense of right and wrong, almost like our body signalling us to stop when we’re doing something wrong. The wicked live in constant fear and distress, always looking over their shoulder, which is a sad way to live. Why not choose to be godly, speak out boldly, and have no fear? There’s joy in confronting challenges to spread God’s word. Don’t hide from others; instead, praise with others. Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Pro28v1 (Jacob B)
