“The road is long with many a winding turn that leads us to who knows where? Who knows where? But I’m strong. Strong enough to carry him. He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.” These words from The Hollies old song highlight a profound virtue—caring for others no matter the cost. But it goes deeper; it’s not only about taking on the load but not even noticing it. This ultimate love is what Jesus describes in the parable of the sheep and the goats. The sheep, representing the righteous, are commended for meeting the needs of others, yet their response is striking: “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’” (Matthew 25:37-40). This is divine love—a love only possible when received from God. Ask Him to fill you with this love, enabling you to truly live out the beauty of, “he ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.” Open Bible – https://bit.ly/Mat25v37-40
